From 23 to 25 October, the Nizio Foundation became a space for a special gathering, shared experiences and the exploration of personal expression. The occasion was Warsaw Autumn Journey, part of the Wild Roots Journey series, led by Amit Carmeli and centred on voice, breath and musical expression.
Over the three days, participants had the opportunity to explore the possibilities of their own voices, experiment with sound and experience music beyond the boundaries of everyday routines. The experience encourages spontaneity, mindfulness and openness towards oneself and others. At its heart is the process itself and the experience of taking part together.
The photographs offer a glimpse of the event from a different perspective, capturing breaks and moments between the sessions. In keeping with the organisers’ intention, the workshop sessions themselves were not photographed, allowing participants the space to fully immerse themselves in the shared experience.
