THROUGH PRAGA WITH A CAMERA LENS – PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS

Nizio Foundation invites you to take part in free street photography workshops organized as part of the project “Through Praga with a Camera Lens”.

This series of workshops is dedicated to the mindful observation of Warsaw’s Praga-Północ district, street photography, working with images, composition, light, and urban space. Together, we will explore architecture, details, courtyards, alleyways, everyday life, and the ways photography can be used to tell stories about a place, its history, and its local identity.

WHO IS IT FOR?

The project is primarily intended for residents of Warsaw’s Praga-Północ district who would like to develop their cultural and creative skills through photography.

We welcome participants interested in local history, urban architecture, visual arts, and street photography.

The workshops are open to adults and young people aged 16 and over.

No previous photography experience is required. The programme is open both to beginners and to amateur photographers who would like to further develop their skills.

Participation is limited to 10–15 people.

WHERE?

The theoretical sessions will take place at Universum Teatru i Umysłu, located at 3 Inżynierska Street in Warsaw.

The practical sessions will be held in public spaces throughout the Praga-Północ district, including the areas around Ząbkowska Street and Targowa Street, as well as historic tenement buildings, courtyards, alleyways, and other distinctive publicly accessible locations.
